New opportunities emerging from the after-sales market of new energy vehicles

Accident & sheet metal will be the main profit source of the after-sales market of EV cars. The cost of sheet metal for new energy vehicles is higher because the appearance and modeling are more complex than traditional oil cars, considering its innovation on manufacturing technique.

 

Car beauty and washing: the proportion of female and young consumers increased, and the degree of attention and care for the appearance of cars increased. EV owners tend to spend more of their budget on beauty and washing comparing with regular maintenance expenses for the traditional oil car.

 

In summary, the after-sales demand of new energy vehicles will rise rapidly in the next 2-3 years and become an important contributor which cannot be ignored in the after-sales market. In the future, cleaning, wheel protection, accident sheet metal and electric system maintenance constitute the main pillar of the new energy maintenance field.
